When you moved to the outer borough for the underground scene, slogging from point A to B via the L or G isn’t what you had in mind.

Find a new mode of transportation at North Brooklyn Collective.

The new Bushwick shop and gallery from Max Cohen, a 28-year-old writer, director, and former cabdriver, sells locally made and small-production bicycles, skateboards, and art.

Pick up vintage cruisers or customize a fixed-gear Sole with mix-and-match colored frames and wheels; skateboards by Pow and Natural Koncept are ready to shred. However, we’d keep Kevin Newcomb’s geode and glass tile mosaic decks on display only.

Surfboards by Swift, racks of vintage tees, and wall murals make the joint look like the set of a Kickstarter-funded film, but don’t expect hipster stuffiness: Cohen and co. (including shop pup Quincy) welcome both uninitiated and seasoned riders.

It’s easier than the 1, 2, 3.
